RE: Album Review: ARTCELL - Aniket Prantor (RELEASED)
To me...Oniket Prantor is quite a different album comparing to the previous one...
Its more of a combination of everything. its... not that melo overall, but i think they did it on purpose to keep a distinct flavor..
After al these time.. Its awesome that plp have such varying opinions regarding it... Some just loves it, ..some thinks its overhyped, ..other just hates it. But I think the album was able to challenge the listeners, made them think about the music, the lyrics....... and why it took so damn long to make.
Thats what I call entertainment with a purpose, music not to move the feet or the head only , but the mind as well.
Every track delivers and delivers in style. It has all the elements that I look for in my music: heavy, melodic & tons of guitar solos. The 16+ min long title track... has to b one of the most eloquently composed track by Artcell.
And ......every other song just transcends to some level of magnanimous satisfaction.
Not only does the album exceeds all expectations that have been levied upon it, ....but does so with grandeur of epic proportions!!... From start to finish, it is a pure progressive musical bliss.
For me.. this album is not only a milestone for Artcell but it’s a milestone for the entire UG music scene.
sound quality ta eto beshi joshh er age kono album e hoise bole mone hoy na..and also..the concepts ar off the hook.
I don't know why,.. (maybe its all the anticipation or sumthing) but the album really has an epic feeling to it. i mean every song i am listening to, i am feeling this tremendous power through their music! such presence! you just can't help but get the feeling that "this is Huge!". gaan gula shob fatano! and the brilliant recording quality makes it even better!
....Ato din wait kore, now i am saying (i think evry1 is) to myself :
"It WAS worth the wait!"
It is simply amazing. The whole look, the whole sound, its a new artcell!!!
..dont think anyone will be able to digest it down so quick. time lagbey..
Brilliance takes time to digest. so let it all sink in. ....putting a headphone on somehow makes the experience more intimate. However.. not everyone has to love the album. i dont think its even meant for mass appreciation.
Like someone said : Lincoln cried during the interview on TV, he has every right to be emotional after an album of this caliber.
This is surely going to be a masterpiece in the BD Metal History (especially in the 'Prog-Metal' genre)...
Another thing.. It's kind of a difficult album for a starter, but the listener should pay intense attention to tie it up...and spend some moments...with ArtCell...to discover the genius...
Jaawa hoena kano.. ?....

RE: Album Review: ARTCELL - Aniket Prantor
7 Kahon.. your point proves that you do know music..the vocal part could use improvement.. although the songs sound great the way its sung now, i think it could be done better if the vocal tried a bit more to be in tune and be careful about the scale variations instead of just hitting the high notes..do you also find a lack of melody in his voice or is it just me who feels that way?
From the coast of gold, across the seven seas,
I'm travelling on, far and wide,
But now it seems, I'm just a stranger to myself,
And all the things I sometimes do, it isn't me but someone else.
Ain't it funny how it is, you never miss it til it's gone away,
And my heart is lying there and will be till my dying day.
