Few days ago I went to Dacope (part of sundarban is under this upazila)
We went inside sundarban riding motorbikes. It is almost 40 K.m. from Dacope. Our destination was \"Kalabogi\" - a union under Dacope inside Sundarban. It took hours to reach there cause the road was muddy; it was really hard to drive bikes.
I attached few pix; pic 1 is a typical scenario of Kalabogi. The area is very underdeveloped; though water is all around, but the people lacking drinking water; Most of the household reserves rain water for drinking purpose. That\'s a strange system to collect rainwater. From the roof one rope is put inside a big Jar. When it rained, the water falls with the rope inside the Jar. See pix 2 – you will find how they reserves drinking water.
Wind is always blowing there (see pic 4). Pic 5 shows the last part of Sundarban, Bay of Bengal after it.
I am in a hurry.... cause BD is not playing well... lemme watch the game.
