as far as i know tht right belongs to ALLAH only and none else.. not evn to our rasul..
so who on earth they think themselves to declare smthing HARAAM???

religion is simple... but not tht simple so tht u do and say whtevr u want...
i really doubt on those "muftis" how much learned they r when they dare to declare smthing "haraam" or "halal" knowing the right only belong to ALLAH...

obossoi haram declare ekmatro Allah Sub. korte paren. Tobe Rasulallah (sm) bolleo haram hobe.

It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. [Surah Ahjab, 33:36]

So, by Quran, Allah has given permission that even Rasulallah (sm) can declare haram/halal.

Even Muftis can declare haram if that is supported by Quran and Authentic Hadith. Like Pornography is Haram - but no where in Quran and Sunnah u can find that exactly. It is that - we match the scenerio with Quran and Authentic Hadith and declares that haram.
Like in the early days, ruling about smoking was said, Makruh. But now when it is scientifically proved that smoking actually kills and destroys the environment and harms other non-smokers - it has been ruled Haram - Backed by Quran like this -
"Do not kill yourself. Allah is Merciful unto you." (Surat al-Nisaa' 4:29)
"And He makes good things halaal for them and bad things haraam." (Surat al-A'raaf 7:157)

So, things can be made haram if properly backed by Quran and Sunnah.

If I read one of the verse of Holy Quran half like this -
"Don't even go near Salat (namaz)..."

would you mean that we should not pray? or go near to salat?
The full verse is -
"Don't even go near Salat when u r drunk"

So, reading incomplete verse can be dangerous, can even lead to shirk. This was the quality of Jew's, they used to read the incomplete verse, and change the ruling of Allah subhanawatawala.
