well, after reading all those news of corruptions on the news papers of our country`s so called big politicians, businessmen and many ones, i have got a question to ask you. that is how much money one needs to live a descent life in a poor country like bangladesh ???
in the last few years, the polarity between poorer and the rich has only been widened. all the big names are involved with many types of criminal acts while they were in power. such a pitty !

actually my dear bro - dere is no limit of men's greed. a men needs more as the more he earns. look at u - u use an internet connection where as there are more than 80% (i guess) of the population never heard of it - and if u explain to them what internet is - they'll think it as a big wastage. the amount i spend after internet bill - more than a 1000 tk - is likely the whole month budget of many families of bangladesh. i need to buy deodrants - can u imagine this type of wastage among the most of the population?
a rickshawpullar can never imagine how i spend this lot of money every month. he would never be able to find the ways of expending so much money each month. like wise u can't think of the lifestyle of these corrupts. living one night in dubai hotel may cost u 50lacs. how about u dream to spend a whole week? how much money would u need then?
so, questioning how much money a man need - can never be answered. its upto u to set the limit. its upto u to decide which way to go.
How much money ones need to lead a decent life? well thats a million dollar question. In capitalists countries like bangladesh scarcity will always exists. Like Nirjon said, it depend on us how we wanna have it. You can put a marginal line to all people on their expanding thats how you would be able to make it low the difference in terms of class but that would make a country like communists.
A question can be raised on humanity that what happen to our morality? For instance, a rickshaw puller is doing die heart try just to survive on the other hand the person X is paying 1000 tk on shoes. On that note, luxuries can create a differnce but it is not the reason because of scarcity again. Of course, speaking of morality a person who can afford to have mercedez is ought to feel to doing somethin for poor people. But in reality thats not how it goes everytime and its ok because the rickshaw puller is not struggling because X is buying 1000tk shoes, not because of X is not contributing enough to fill the gaps, it is because X is not maintaing the fundamental duty of citizenship, and then comes the moral duty. The fundamental duty is paying taxes, Excluding corruption. How many of citizens in bangladesh pay taxes? Spending 1000 on shoes if the proper taxez were collected then the difference would definitly go down. Buyers dont pay taxes just to avoid little extra money, sellers avoid asking taxes just give extra money to the goverment. Thats how in every step of our living is getting effected.
Another thing that is killing our country is the corruption. And it is not only in government level. It is visible in the business of citizens like us. Such as not paying the taxes. Corruption to amader modhei hoche, how can we expect from the people in powers would stop into their greeds. The leaders we have chosen have shown their faces. Politicians like Tarek Zia, Shekh Hasina oder name je ajkal Koti koti takar mamla hoche aey shob taka diye amar moto dui poshar manusher life set kora jay. Bangladesh je foreign aid pay shegulo r kichu ta jodi amader citizens pay amader living standard aro improved hoto. Kintu corruptioner karone sheta possible hoche na.
Another reason for poverty and the sky-land difference between for and rich is population growth. Countries like us we cant efford to have that many people. Who we gonna blame that for? Isn't it our responsibility? Amra shobai majority niye kotha bolte pochondo kori, kichu holei dosh chapiye dei jonogoner upor but excuse me jonogon gulo kara? simple its you and me. . .
So the question of how much money is not a big deal, the deal how can we live a decent life . . .we cant stop scarcity but we can get rid off corruption and our irresponsible attitudes.
