Boshonto Family

A thought came to my mind when I was reading a book on the biography of Rasul(sal). The thought was regarding the struggle our Rasul(sal) and his Sahabas(rad) took to spread Islam. They were less in number than the Quraish in the battle of Badar, they were far behind in technology and number than the Romans in the battle of Tabuk. But still they have won and were successful to spread the message of Islam. Again Muslims after reigning around 800 years had lost when they were far advanced in knowledge than the contemporary Europe. The question is why ??

I believe it happened because of our weak condition of Iman. Even if a believer of Islam including myself loves to spend more time in playing games, watching TV, listening to music instead of serving Islam today. A believer should be more concerned about Jannat and Jahannam.
The reason we find less interest in Islam and more in recreations is simple. Satan influences us to forget our duty. Not only that, in our country those who carry the outfit of Islam (Huzurs and Madrasa students) have failed to put a proper impression upon us. May be because in most of the cases meritorious kids are sent to the primary schools and dull kids are sent to the Madrasas.

So I think it has become our (those who are educated) responsibility to remind the believer about their duties at the same time spread Islam among non believers.

Alhamdulillah Boshonto has many young hearts who are definitely dedicated about Islam. We can work together and form our own community to spread Islam. Now a day involvement in any group has really become confusing because we don’t know their soul purpose that’s why it is safe to form our own work group.

A popular but wrong concept "Should we take any step befor we purify ourselves". At first you should know its farz for every muslim to give dawah. If you dont do it you are not a perfect believer. So to become perfect you have to start to give Dawah.

Now I think you are talking about that as we do not perform islam properly how can we ask people to perform that. In this case we can take one mutual step. Suppose you can follow the Islamic dress code so you will try to convince people to follow that. May be a member of Boshonto who performs salat (five time a day) on a regular basis can invite others to do so. Those who have starved in this ramadan can give dawah for fasting. In this way, who is stronger in a field can work with that one. Regarding knowledge, we will start with what we have. It means the knowledge we are sure is accurate, we will deliver.

The most important thing is that we are atleast believer, we can approach towards non believers and atheists. It will make our faith stronger and it will insha allah lead us to become a true and proper believer.

well.. i never knew it was farz...can u tell me the where u get this thing??? Dawah is farz???

on ur second point, well...this might be a good idea, still i m not sure.

Naheen I have heard it several times,,, You can find in the holy Quran about giving dawah,, also Rasul has ordered it in "bidaye hazz".
