keokaradong tour story : Part 7




behind us, it is Keokaradong range. the blue mountain makes tremindous scenery with the blue sky. we were very tired. our face reflects that but the blue mountain and sky removes that tiredness from our mind. actually our Bangladesh is very beautiful. but the way to find out the natural beauty of Bangladesh is very hard. Darjeeling is 7000 feet high but thousands of turist visiting Darjeeling every year. Keokaradong is only about 3600 feet but no way for the tourist to visit. it takes almost 1 day from Bandarban to Boga lake and from boga lake to keokaradong, it takes almost 3.5 hrs continuous walking.




blue sky from the blue mountain, Keokaradong. The sky is tremindously blue from keokaradong. normally the sky against the sun is blue. for example,if the sun is to the south then the north sky is blue.



yes ! ! ! we r at the top of Keokaradong,the second toppest peak of Bangladesh. the light and shed game of sun is going on behind us. some land is green,some is yellow and the far lands r blue and the farthest almost out of our sight lands r brown. we reach the top at 12 o'clock. we had our lunch with Tuna fish and toast biscuit. we were so hungry that this food was like invigorating and heaven. we brought these foods from dhaka just to have our lunch on keokaradong peak.



2 village is visible from keokaradong. i can't understand why some place r yellow, some is blue and some is green. i know that the yellow places r where the sun light is falling strongly and the green places r full of trees but the blues ???? near, the mountain is divided by sun rays. one place is open to rays and other place is covered by cloud .

the stone says " Keokaradong - the highest peak of bangladesh(3172) laid by Mejor Mosharof Hossain,comd of 38th battalion,the east bengal regiment,date- 02.03.93 " . but there r conflict about the reading of mejor saab. in one book i read that the height of keokaradong is 3600 feet. even the bom ppl think that keokaradong is the highest peak of bangladesh,even higher that tajindong.



alo adharir khela from keokaradong peak. this is amazing. cause some place is yellow and some is green and others r blue. normally the distant hills look blue. the yellow parts r very warming.



the flag was raised by the army on 16th december.



it was 12.00 o'clock. the sun ray was sharp. but the peak was cold. the blue sky removes the tiredness. i didn't see the sky such blue from any where in bangladesh. sky of st. martin is blue but not like this one.



this stone was laid by Army also on 16th december,2005. this stone is just below the peak of Keokaradong.

don't look at me. feel the background. this was the nicest scenery in our trecking.believe me the original 3 dimensional scenery was much more beautiful than what u r watching in this photo. i couldn't capture the original beauty.nevertheless i hope u will get a idea how beautiful our bangladesh is.

keokaradong tour story : Part 10



going down from keokaradong,back to boga lake .



somebody thinks that going down is easy than going up. it is completely wrong. when goes down, u have to b more cautious and u have to have more control or ur body. when goes up, u have to keep patience and it is laborous, not risky. but going down is risky task. sudden stumbling can cause a severe accident. lots of pressure falls on thigh,knee joint and calf muscle. when we were coming back, shahrear felt lots of problem with his right knee. his knee betrayed him, he felt severe pain on knee while going down from keokaradong. his knee problem slower down us.




pamir on action.it is near boga lake. from here boga lake is 30 min distance. from keokaradong to bogalake, we took 2 hrs.
