Pickin this team... Iv considered sporty wickets in mind..where Pacers and spinners wil hav equal parts to play... not at all the dead asian wickets.Thats why.. Iv taken only ONE Genuine spinner on the side.

Many might question my selection of Mark Boucher over Gilchrist. Thats bcz of the current form of Gilchrist. He hasnt been in the best of forms in the Last Ashes series. Moreover..Boucher is a bettr team man....and can change his game ne time he wants.

Ivnt gone for ne west-indians..player though I cud hav picked Brian Lara. ..one of my most fav batsmen in the game. Cz....I tried to blend in experience and new-comers...avoidin the star-appeals. Cz..Too much star-presence might backfire the plans. ...ths well proved in the last World XI vs australia test series.

Selectin this team has still been a Hard Job... cz I wanted to blend som new-comers.. but considerin the gr8ness of som of the players...I jus cudnt do tht. Number 3, 4, 5 are very important places in a batting order. Ths why..Iv tried to put all the best plyaers I hav.. in those places. But number 6.. is a tuff position.. cz somtimes...Iv seen tht.. middle order batters fail when they com bit low down the order.. ths why Iv put Ricky Ponting in no. 6. Cz.. firstly, he's an Australian..secondly, awesome wid the bat. Thirdly, he's also in tremendous form. But...I had Micheal Clark in my mind as well...another aussie! So....I really donno ab this decision..yet.

Now..comin down the order... if u look at closely... There isnt really ne No.11 batsmen in this team.. who can hardly hold the bat. Ths why..Iv gone for players lik Shaun Pollock, Shane Warne and Shane Bond.

and..iv unedrstimated the asian players... all the way..bcz They are genrally not the best of fielders.

In the slips..Iv safe hands..lik Rahul Dravid, Filintoff ,Warne...


With new ball, ....Id go for Bond and Pollock.... frm two alternative ends.
One with great Pace..and the other with less pace and swing. Thst bcz if Bond..goes for runs.. Pollock wil tighten the screws up. With first change..Iv got Flintoff... thn....when the ball gets older... I hav,, Warne ..thn Kalise. ...and Grahem Smith can round his arms as well.


Now.... the Biggest thing.. Who wil b the captain???

Iv 6 options -
Smith, fleming , Huq, Dravid, Ponting and Pollock . All thees palyers.hav xperience leading their national teams.

Id Go for Stephen Fleming ...cz He is the most wickeds and Sharpests of the Lot. And.. the Vice-captain....Id go for Shane Warne.

Irfan Pathan is in the team and Shoeb Akhtar and Bret Lee is out? i cant make a team of my own cuz its been a while since ive watched any matches that havent involved BD or Pakistan..but i still cant consider Irfan Pathan as a great bowler considering his lollypop pace..

Whats even more mysterious to me is how Warne becomes the vice captain when ppl like Ponting, Pollock and Graeme Smith are there..im not even considering Inzy..

And wheres Gilchrist? Id think he was a much better choice than Boucher..He keeps the wicket with warne and Boucher would fail to grasp the direction of Warnes deliveries..took Gilchrist long enough..

In the end its your team and you know best but id change those few things and be happy to call it my team too..

amar theory simple.....5 ta solid bowler lagbe...ase....infact solid na hok shat ta bhalo bowler ase....atleast tin ta all rounder lagbe ase....ar char ta solid batsmen lagbe...ase. Why andrew symonds? (as oppose to numerous others). i think his recent performances and genuine match saving specialty is enough to earn him a place in the World XI. Why Dravid is on the bench? this is simply personal reasons er jonno...choto bela theke tendulkar amar fav player...so i dont care or recent performance kemon o team e thakbei!

Well..... ami first ei team korar shomoy... Favourite player er dike jabonaa..thhik korsii.. ..I'd Jus Consider [color=green]Ability , Performances and Current Form[/green] ths why..though I not a gr8 fan of Indian team... I chose Dravid & Pathan.

well.... asif bhai, Gilchrist k team e na rakhar pechhone jei karon kaj korse..sheta ami agei bolsii... I jus went for his Current form... otherwise..he defntly comes over Boucher!!

Warne ke vice captain banaisi.. ths bcz... I blieve he's got the more sharper brain thn...the rest. ..I don rate Ponting, smith or Pollock as great captains... n knowing Warney as a bowler.. and as far as Iv seenn his bowling... he works a lot on a batsmen's mind..more thn..a lot of bowlers around these days... ths why....Iv a feelin..If he wud have been a bettr Captain thn Ponting..
