Some good news ahead of the semifinal first leg
fabregas has a 50-50 chance to start
Arsenal have been boosted by the news that Villarreal will be missing two key defenders for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final at Highbury on Wednesday.
Gonzalo Rodriguez and Juan Manuel Pena both picked up muscular injuries in the 1-0 defeat at Barcelona on Friday and neither will now play in North London.
Rodriguez, who has been particularly impressive this term, was forced off after 19 minutes of the game at Camp Nou and although Pena managed to play the full 90 minutes, he too has been ruled out.
The news will be a major headache for Villarreal boss Manuel Pellegrini who is already without the services of first-choice keeper Sebastian Viera through suspension.
