Dear friends, read this:
Had our grandparents been told that it would be possible to speak to friends by means of a telephone to almost any part of the world simply by lifting a receiver, and asking for a number, they would have laughed us to scorn. Yet today that is an accomplished fact. What those grandparents would have thought had they been told about modern wireless may be better imagined than expressed. This goes to prove how
ready the world is to scoff at some new thought or fact unknown to it, whatever the generation, past, present or future.
What now appears to be wonderful and bordering on the miraculous, will be accepted by the next generation as a normal event. It is only a matter of progress and evolution.
So don\'t you think your grandchildren will be able to enjoy even more amenities and wonders than us?Dont you think that the things that they would enjoy is simply ridiculous to us right now?Won\'t you laugh at me if I say that they would be able to travel to other planets in a matter of minutes!!Dont you think after thousand years, each and every people might be able to perform miracles like David Copperfield!!Dont you think that humans might be able to use time machines and go to the future or past!!(who knows they might be able to do miracles with dead people also!!!)
A prophet is never a hero in his own country, neither for that matter is a pioneer, whose ideas and aspirations differ from the established conception of things, received with any great enthusiasm by his fellow-man.So always remember one thing, human beings do not want thier established beliefs and ideas and rituals to be changed by someone. That is why whenever there is a rebel, whenever a person comes up new thoughts and ideas, he is always punished and scorned by that particular society in which he belongs.
It happened to many great people whom we know.For e.g:
Abraham(Hazrat Ibrahim) who tried to establish Islam against pagan worshippers.
Jesus Christ-who tried to preach the words of God to the people, and told everyone to love others.
Socrates-Who was hanged for no reason.His only crime was that he was preaching something new to the society.
Our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad-Who had to leave Mecca due to the oppression of his won tribe.
Have not the above four people contributed a lot to mankind.But all these four people were hated in their respective tribes!!!
So the thing to learn here is that never oppose any new beliefs, never be so dogmatic, the truth is always in front of us, we have not achieved that yet.And people like the above are like vehicles who tries to take us nearer to truth.So any new thoughts and ideas must be evaluated and thought thrice before being discarded.
After all we are just like ants trying to reach the top of mountain. Still remaining at the base(in 21st century), we are thinking we have achieved everything. Whereas, a simple thing has not been discovered yet, whether there is anything called \'mind\'
