I only have a couple of friends.. I have hundreds of acquaintances but only a couple of true friends..Lemme just reflect upon them with the point naheen mentioned about fighting..
1. Ishita - She has been my best friend and will remain so..sometimes months go by without us even getting the chance to meet or speak.. but yet that never affects the beautiful relationship that we have.. I never fought with her.. we might have disagreed on stuff but never ever did we have a fight and i doubt we ever will cuz she appreciates me too much and i appreciate her even more.. We have weird names for eachother.. I call her my \"Amma\" and she calls me her \"Baba\".. aint gonna even try to explain how that works.. but as i said.. she has been and always will be the best friend i ever had cuz we think in the exact same wavelengths.. its spooky how we have exactly same thoughts about stuff and almost identical music choice..and she being the exact same kind of person like me is what keeps me absolutely platonic about her.. i love her to bits but id never be able to be attracted to her..
2. Mansoor - This guy is like my blood brother.. he also has similar wavelengths..had a similar background like mine..talks in almost the same accent..my NSU days were made a lot less horrible because i met the guy on the very first class and have been friends ever since.. just like Ishita, we can have months without talking and yet pickup where we left off without hesitation..he and i did have a fight.. but we didnt argue or anything.. we stopped talking to eachother completely.. used to attend the same class without even glancing at eachother.. then oneday he apologized and so did i.. and things moved on..that is the only incident of fighting..
Apart from these two i have no other friends whom id be able to call REAL friends and i had a minor fight with the 2nd best one.. so im not sure if naheens theory of fighting being essential works for me..
Though i fight every night with the girl i love and make up later.. but then again alls fair in love.. the chemistry is completely different when its love and that cant be used as an example..
Pantho John..Ekta manush jodi lucky hoy then they get one REAL friend in life.. if they are extremely lucky then they get two REAL friends.. Im yet to meet anyone with more than 2 REAL friends or atleast friends that match my definition of real friends..aar kache ashar bepar ta jodi chesta kore korte hoy tahole the friendship aint that great cuz if it was great then it would be natural.. so dont worry about it.. when the time comes you would get the real friends if that is your destiny.. for the mean time acquaintances to achei..
