American Idol is the originator of this Idol thing, so obviously they will be the trend setter. Kintu amar kacche singer quality er bepare American Idol er shathe Indian Idol er compare kora ta tough mone hoy. Because I find English song types and the qualities that are needed to sing these songs quite different from that of Indian songs. Though that\'s completely my personal opinion.
But its not that hard to compare singers of India and Bangladesh, as they have a similar voice quality and also the songs sound similar at times. So based on that, I found the singers of Indian Idol (at least the top performers) a bit better than Bangladeshi singers, and this is specially true when they show flexibility in singing songs of diverse language, where as Bangladeshi singers are judged only in Bangla songs.
Performance wise, Indian Idol singers are far better than Closeup 1 singers.
As far as the stage is concerned, it totally depend on the budget, the creativity of the stage designer and the requirements of the organizer. Cause, many a times, the organizer/lead sponsor wishes to have their own brand color/pattern to be incorporated in the design. So our one was not bad, if they have worked under these limitations. Just like Indian Idol has some legal obligations to fulfill in their designs.
Now the Judges...I found Kumar Biswajit the best judge among the 3 of Closeup 1. Samina Chowdhury er \"...Ami ja ja khujecchi, tai tomar gaan e peyecchi...\" type dialogue oshojjho lage. Aar Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul to ....UGH....simply awfully disgusting in an irritating way and pathetic in true sense.
Anchors...Closeup 1 anchors are not at all up to the mark. But I don\'t like Indian Idol anchors either. Kaaj er kotha baad die aar shob pachal ettttooo beshi pare...aar prizes er kotha etto beshi bar bole...je program er ordhek time eishob faul pachal ei bhora thake. 20 minitues er ekta program kibhabe 1 hour banano jay ta eder kacch theke shikhte hoy. Ei bepare amar American Idol er anchoring onek beshi bhalo lage. To the point and at the same time interesting.
Tobe overall, amar mone hoecche Bangladesh e first ei dhoroner ekta program hishabe, Closeup 1 jothesto bhalo korecche. Karo shathe compare na korle, er singer quality, song selection, program design...shob dik milie bhaloi bolte hobe.
