Well........ anonymous r Asif bhair postgula porre.... mone holo... Uv missed a name which is The Watson Brothers

Asif bhai, apni nishchoy shunechhen.... eder debut album Ohom. Now Whats ur opinion on the sound & composition quality of tht album....???

Being....a mere newcomer in Music comparin2 Asif bhai\'s xperience... I think.... They hav produced 1 of the most versatile and unique album in BD industry... in terms of Lyrics, compositions.. and mostly the sound output.... They appeared to me as A Real High Quality.... band the only band Who hav come a long way.... in achieving.. the international level!!
Now.... its up to u...if uv heard it well....u might agree tht... they were even better thn ABC... comparin with each of their debut albums....

Now....back on topic... I almost agree with anonymous tht ....
I also think... tht we just need a platform....with the facilities of better sound systems..and sound engineers... cz I felt most of the times.. tht We are not gettin the proper sound output which is actually played in a certain song... Id recall the name of the legend Rockstrata & the 1st 2 albums of Warfaze... which suffer badly due to poor and unadequate sound quality... Thats why, we might not compete with wht we hav so far... as Artcell-Blacks.. but we can improve tht in a greater xtent with proper back-ups... facilities... That\'s when we can xperiment more... and take more time.. so tht we can add more input with gettin approximately the same output! ....

Cz..im confident enough to say tht... The other bands of this subcontinent lik Junoon-Silk Route-Ep irtiqa-Euphoria-Fuzon are no better thn Artcell-Black-Crypticfate-TWB-Aurthohin- Nemesis!
But... what they hava achieved..all these time.... is the love of not only their own country-men..but also.. ppl frm India.. Bangaldesh.. ... But look at us... They Are still considered as Underground Bands by the mass!!!..??! Do they actualy deserve tht?? ...let alone being international bands...

Bands lik Promethius, LRB, Nogorbaul, Ark... are still gettin the opportunity to tour foreign countries... but do These band get even a little of tht??!!!??

So all I wanna say tht.... They shud not neccessarily need to make english songs.. to get to the level of Junoon-Euphoria..
The way we\'re listenin2 hindi-urdu songs.... why cant we make the ppl frm India-Pakistan listen to Bangla songs... its all the composition n proper xposure tht matters.. isnt it??

And... Asif bhai, I cant agree with ur sayin CF havnt managed to produce nethin close to international level.... if uv followed their last cpouple of tracks frm the mixd albums... probly u might hav agreed atleast to som xtent to tht... those were totally difrnt frm Shreshto...the Maiden influences... Cz Theyv turned their comps in2 more of Tool and alice in chains based.. and they\'r probly continuin tht in Their 2nd Big release Danob which is goin2 b released in Jan\'2006 inshallah!

And... I cudnt agree with the copy-ri8 thingy.. u talkd ab... in tht case please point som numbers particularly which are far frm being originals.. cz Iv heard and read a lot of discussions ab the intro riffs of \"chilekothar shepay\" of Artcell being copied frm \"In the darkest hour\" by Megadeth.. and atlast heard tht theres a rule ab copyrighting... where it says tht... a specific amount of chords/chords-circle can b similar... though I donno much ab tht... newayz....

Iv written wht I believe... and We just need a channel lik \"THE MUSIC\" which features and promotes only pakistani rock bands....

As i said.. tomar oder international quality lagle thats your choice.. i dont think they are.. and frankly speaking i believe the most talented musicians of our country are still in the legendary bands and not in the new age bands you mentioned..regardless of their musical paths they have shown their greatness which is yet to be achieved by the new bands..

And as for the Ohom Album.. i just listened to the song \"rong\".. and it definitely felt like having a high cranberries influence..baakigulo shuni ni so comment korte jabo na..

Jei bandgulo mention kora hoyeche taar moddhe ekmatro Artcell kei amar mone hoy diverse and versatile.. cryptic fate er bepare kono fascination nei amar..and aurthohin lost its charm when they became monotonous..most of their songs have the same sort of music and i dont like that at all.. aaro reasons ache for me to not like aurthohin but id rather not talk about them.. Black ke kono kalei khub uradhura band mone hoy nai amar.. akhono hoy na.. and if you consider popularity in the mass then they have a long way to go.. I know you would mention Prometheus as an example of mass popularity and third class music.. but forget the rural ppl.. think about the mass appeal of LRB or Miles Or Warfaze in the educated and music conscious circle and you would see that they are yet way behind them.. aar Nemesis er fan circle niye kichu bolar nai amar.. im yet to listen to them so i wouldnt consider them as a famous band of bd.. and if they havent conquered the music conscious crowd of BD then how do you expect them to conquer other countries?

Junoon, Silk Route eder example deya keno hocche seta ami thik bujhtesi na.. how many caucasean fans do you know who love these bands? Indian Satellite Channels jodi tomar definition of popularity hoy then you may ask for that but dont forget the fact that they are highly protective about stuff from other countries.. its a miracle that Paki bands have infiltrated India and its gonna need an even bigger miracle for BD bands to conquer them..its better to win your own country first before going for other regions..

Aar dont forget the similarities between hindi and urdu.. otao ekta major factor for the whole thing.. Bangla koto percent lok bujhbe? and it does take a proper understanding or something close to that of the lyrics of a song to make you like it.. just tune er upor base kore olpo kichu bhalo lagbe but not too much.. otherwise we would be listening to french and spanish songs and yet we dont..

BD er shobcheye aage jeta dorkar seta hocche Band der moddhe groupbaji and politics shorano.. and not only the popular or old school bands are in it..so oita aage shoruk tarpor onek kichui possible hobe..
