My reply to all these backfires,
Naheeeeeeeen wrote why I had to say something like this...
Reason is simple to comprehend, I inscribed what i deem true. Being a bengali doesn't neccessarily mean that one has to be biased. You can see what US is doing to the muslim world, now if a US citizen speaks out the truth, will u endorse him, or not? He may be rejected by his fellow US compatriot, but the rest of the world and ppl with heart will obviously second him. This analogy exactly works in my case too. Come abroad and see the reaction of non-bengali towards the bengalis. A neat and untilted perspective, not the biased one as of the rest of the members of this forum. I don't know how much of my viewpoint makes you think, after all u(Naheeeeeen) r just a girl. But i'm unafraid of being reprimanded. My heart is open and true. I don't keep my feelings covert.
I hope u got my point.
And also to Misho, go to the people living under the line of poverty, go to the ppl working like pigs and gaining nothing in ME and ask about the role of BNG embassy there. Search the reports published about BNG. What i say is always has an insurmountable logic that you and my priyo member-a kokhonoi FALSE korte parbena. Ya i know that BNG ppl has good heart for unknown. I live in foreign land and i know that there is nothing like HOMELAND. I miss my family, my area, my frn, the weather, the Jotla of Farmgate, the koshoto of Banani, the moja of marketing with my mom. the Sports channels, endless fight with meftah, Abhie (Zibran) and Bari on religion, spending night after night on C, VB programming projects, the MUZICS, the winters, mom, brother, my sister who got back in BNG....... So many things. Strictly speaking I also had terrible bad memory back in BNG too. But all of these i never took into consideration. Flying in high colors with frn on Fathers business or money doesn't make a place beautiful. The real ppl are the ones who are languisihng in Gulshan bosti, mohammadpur bosti, the Dinmojurs, the middle-class'. Their lives and their viewpoints what actually matters.
In malaysia there are also indigents, But just come here and watch the role of GOVT. for them. Anyways, I don't wanna heart anyone, I don't mind about what u guys say, u can scold me as much as u like.
But ppl like Naheeeeeen, I hope, will understand me. And i do respect all kinds of view point. Can anyone please furnish any substantial logic that can overturn my angle of thinking? Everyone is welcome!
Read my post about a new leader to see a Civilization redivivus in this nation. BNG was a tremendous segment of this world, but as it has been thrown into the hands of Bengalis, all got ruined.
Thank You all.

Well I want to ask you something? Imagine your sister is being raped by some person infront of you. What are you going to do then? Save her or watch her to be torn? And if you could be that "Bangla Filimer Hiru" what do you expect in return? Your sister to comfort you? or be your slave for the rest of her life?
This is the same for the country. When it is needed to be saved, it should be saved and no return should be expected. So the country is not going to assure food for that poor kid. It will go as it was going. Therefore, claiming to be a Mukti jodhdha and having extra facility- I don't support it.
I heard a story though I do not know whether it is true or not. After the WW2, in USSR a very few person would pay the train fair, most claiming to be the fighter at WW2. So one day Stallin announced that if any person denies to pay the fair he will be eliminated. At the very first day 300-something were killed. I am telling you that I do not know the trueness of this story but it is perfectly adoptable for a situation like this. Well JF Kennedy said "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what can you do for your country." So your friend has to earn his own living, the country is not going to provide anything. Neither to him nor even his father if he were alive. His father did what was his duty.
Now it is my personal opinion. I think if there were no dictatorship at that time, Pakistan wouldn't have been divided. Because, I've met many pakistanis who said they never wanted pakistan to be divided. I met one Canadian-Pakistani a few days ago who said, If we were together then Pakistan would have been greater power than India. and in Canada or in many places we could together form a different community like the Chinese do. So I think the event took place too quickly.
And about the military agitation- brother, think about the armies in Iraq, think about the Yuguslavian army, think about the command of Aidid in Nigeria. If bangladeshi armies conqure some place they would do the same. Infact our brave Sena bahiniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii killed Sheikh Mujib and Zia. so it was quite natural for a military, especially asian. But finally this I agree that still we've failed to prove ourselves as a great nation. To tell the truth we've gained a bad reputation as a nation. Think of becoming top in "Durniti" for five times. How will you define that?
But lets not be in despair. We could still do it. So, instead of depending on free meal, lets try to earn it, arm in arm, hand in hand.

first of all to _asif,
i live in UK and i see what people are thinking of Bangladesh. for ur very much concern i will let you know that avarage Tom, censored and Harry here in UK dont give a shit about Bangladesh. in fact i doubt whether they know exactly where is Bangladesh. they only Know that there is a country named Bangladesh because there are lot of Bangladeshis in UK.
now lets talk about poverty. how many days actually have you spent in slums??? i did. you know why? because i have freinds there. who are not so high in their social status but high enough in heart that they try to work for a better environment in their slums. and funny thing is they are not working in any NGOs. i worked with them slept and ate with them. we did not have any incomes at that time. people living in slums used to bring us food. nt that we carried guns. rather they used to like us because of what we were doing. that is called "apon korey neya". which i dont think you will going to get any where in the world.
by the way koto raat kataiso oishob dinmojur ar bosti bashider shathey. jodi na kataya thako taile kotha boilo na.
to Atif,
right to the point bro. dont expect anything. we may not have a lot but what we got is ours. its our pride that we have a country that we can call ours. ar about military dictatorship...in 1995 army denied a chance for military rulz. thats why gen. nasim got sacked. which clearly indicates that army is never going to take control again. which is definitly a good sign for a democratic country. army is not for governing a country. they are there to protect. (btw...mujib and zia killing ey pura army na matro duekta unit chchilo.)
at last _asif, if you really want to piss at some one do it on the persons responsible. such as rajnitibid. if u need names plz do tell us and we will provide them.
to naheen,
i know what i am doing. ageo bolsi freedom of speech mane ja khushio bola na. u know wat i mean.
