I loved this movie for a lot of reasons.. the fresh story.. the awesome acting and all that were factors but what i loved it most for was the fact that i had a circle that was quite similar to that..

Dont laugh at me but im probably Akash in the trio.. My friend Shiplu was kinda like sameer.. but my friend allin was exactly like sid and looked a lot like him too.. and life changed for all of us just the same way..shiplu and i are still here while allin left for england.. i changed just like akash did about relationships and all that..and i also got the girl i wanted in the end ..

That scene where amir looks at the college and sees three guys sitting that reminds him of how he and his buddies were is my fav.. cuz we had the same feeling when we went back to school and saw other kids doing the stuff we used to do..

So bottom line is i loved the movie because i could relate me and my world to the one thats shown there unlike the movies where the hero and heroine runs through grass fields and bursts into songs..farhan akhter is a good director in my book not only cuz of this movie but also cuz of Lakshya.. that movie had a great story, super camera work and AWESOME professional packaging as far as im concerned..

Amir ke amar khub beshi bhalo lage na but i loved his work in this one.. Akshaye is one of my fav \"hero\" cuz of his unconventional style and personality and i believe saif has great potentials in roles that have a bit of humour in them..Preity Zinta is the prettiest actress around for me..her smile only comes second to my gf\'s smile(I mean it honey )..

Wish I had a circle of tht kind !! ...... whenever we frnds hang out or go out for a trip , we miss The Car in Dil Chahta Hai ....
I beleive every circle , no matter how many thts made of, has got characters lik Akash-Sameer-Sid. Thats wht makes this movie tht gr8 to this generation . !

U might laugh.... but I wanted to b the \"Siddharth\" mostly bcz I cud relate myself so much with tht character.... and aslo Akshay was and is my Fav. actors..!

What ab u??? ....if u were given the wishes to b Akash/Sameer/Siddharth wht wud u choose??? ...I assume not many of thm wud go for Samir, ri8?

As i said Akash er character tar shonge amar onek dik thekei mil chilo.. specially about taking life as just a game and not giving a damn about anything..aar yes abhie..we did all the car stuff..onno friends der niye majhemoddhe pickup er pichone boshe ghurte berotam.. it used to be great fun..

And id still prefer to be akash because i like what he goes through.. the baptism of fire is something i prefer..

Sameer er character tao kintu khubi important.. although he is a bit silly, he is the one who holds the trio together.. oo na thakle kintu ganjam solve hoto na.. so ppl shouldnt be embarassed of being sameer.. after all he also gets the girl he wants in the end..

Sid er character ta intriguing.. but i dont wanna be that..cuz im not the quiet softspoken type.. ive always been full of fire and i could never be that nice..
