Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle...i finished the 6th part of that book while sitting in my ethics class. On the first edition page there was written " The ultimate purpose in studying ethics is not as it is in other inquires, the attainment of theoretical knowledge; we are not conducting this inquiry in order to know what virtue is, but in order to become good, else there would be no advantage in studying it." - Aristotle.
very well said Sir . Very few of us who spend our precious time in spending educating ourselves, realizes that whatever we are learning how effective that learnings are and what is the impact of it. If our knowdge are not suitable for applying in life then there is no advantage in it. We need to be epestemic learner instead of gaining education from hard coverd books. This jst remind me of my close one who had said something last week. He had a test and he answered only two or so number of questions out of the entire test. When i asked him about not finding the common questions, he answered me is this a way to learn? only common question? Hey there, this is your answer. NO its definitely not a way.
This master piece is a huge knowldgeable book to educate ourselves; as well as strongly recomended.
