Dear probal.. i read the points you made.. and i dont know what to say about it..you are either suffering from some dillusion or are lost in the world that you are in right now.. whichever the case maybe..it doesnt forgive the fact that you insulted the very thing that makes you enjoy the so called freedom that you enjoy now.. if 71 wasnt there, you would be still working for some pakistani employer and getting your arse handed over to you in multiple ways..
Why do you say we cant believe in what others say about 71? if you werent present at a certain point of history then there is no other way for you to know about it other than believing the ppl who were around then.. be it in a written or a verbal form..there are numerous books about the freedom war and then there are numerous ppl around you who have been through those glorious days..if you cant believe your own parents then who do you believe? you know something? dont even answer that.. i dont think you know whom to believe..ppl like you think only what they think in their twisted head is right and the rest of the world is wrong..
I dont care if 30 lakh ppl died or 3 lakh did.. if 3 ppl died for the freedom of this country then its still a lot..to give ones life for the freedom that we enjoy now is not an easy thing to do..and who did they do it for? US..the future generation..and i feel ashamed to be a part of the generation which involves ppl like you who think it was just a political game.. are you giving up your life for any political game? will you ever? i really dont think so cuz you are not the kind of ppl who can be that selfless..when others bow down to the ppl to whose dreams we owe our very existence as free individuals, you dare to disrespect them..
Growing up isnt just learning how to be a rebel.. im a rebel myself.. i dont believe in a lot of the things this society follows.. i dont believe that our country evolved the way those freedom fighters dreamed.. but under no circumstances would i ever dare to insult their sacrifice..because i made a few sacrifices in my life and i have an idea how unimaginable it would be for me to give up my life and my loved ones for the dream of having a free country of my own.. the difference between you and the rest of us is that we atleast can respect those who did what we doubt if we would have been able to do.. be as selfish as you want but dont mess around with the selflessness of others..
I doubt if i have ever been enraged like this by someone\'s post before..freedom of speech is a great thing.. but dont go against the ppl who donated that freedom to you at the cost of their very lives..there are still some things that are sacred.. and the violators need to be whipped to death..
I just pray to god that you gain some senses to not criticise or say blasphemous stuff about our great war..
