tomaar Ghore ~ Bangla
chorus:
tomaar ghore baash kore kaara (o mon jaano naa)
tomaar ghore boshot kore koi jonaa (mon jaano naa)
verse 1:
ek jone chobi aake ek money (o mon)
aar ek jone boshe boshe rong maakhe (o mon)
(abaar) shei chobi khaan noshto kore kon jonaa
verse 2:
ek jone shoor tole ek taare (o mon)

bridge:
rosh khaiya hoiya mataal
oi dekho haat phoshke jaae ghoraar lagaam
(shei) lagaam khaana dhore dekho kon jonaa
The chorus, if played with easy and common chords, is like this...
G------------Em------------C---------C------------
tomaar ghore baash kore kaara (o mon jaano naa)
G------------Em----------C--------------C------------
tomaar ghore boshot kore koi jonaa (mon jaano naa)
The chords used...
G 320033
Em 022000
C 332010
The verse parts with easy chords...
G-------Em---------C---------C------
ek jone chobi aake ek money (o mon)
G-----------Em----------C--------------------
aar ek jone boshe boshe rong maakhe (o mon)
--------G----------------Em----------C----------D-----------
(abaar) shei chobi khaan noshto kore kon jonaa (kon jonaa)
G------------Em----------C--------------C------------
tomaar ghore boshot kore koi jonaa (mon jaano naa)
The stanza I'm calling bridge is actually very similar, musically speaking, to the verse
parts. The Indian (as well as Bengali) Classical and Folk term for this part is SHONCHAARI,
assuming that chorus is equivalent to AASTHAYEE and verse is ONTORAA.
G-----------Em------------
rosh khaiya hoiya mataal
Am----------Am---
oi dekho haat phoshke jaae ghoraar lagaam
-------G-------------Em----------C---------D------------
(shei) lagaam khaana dhore dekho kon jonaa (kon jonaa)
G------------Em----------C--------------C------------
tomaar ghore boshot kore koi jonaa (mon jaano naa)
Now comes the interesting part... the real work...
Here's the basic intro figure (also played thoughout the song) --
..G . . . . . . G/A5. . . . . .G/B5. . . . . G/C5. . . . .
e|------|------|------|------||------|------|------|------|

I didn't include the 1st string (e) here, and most probably not played originally as well...
You can play the open 1st string (e) with the 2nd ( B ) and the 3rd (G) strings...
Even better, tune the 1st string down to D...
Every 3rd line of the verses (shei chobi khaan...) is played with power.
A second guitar plays --

Why do we sacrifice the beautiful ones?
Why when they walk with love alone?
Why do we sacrifice our beautiful souls?
Just trying to find their way home.
