that was my first visit to Taiwan.. I was visiting some industrial plant and the person who was giving me the tour knew very little english.. he took me to a local restuarent (industrial plant was very far away from the main city and there was no 'english' restuarents around).. I tried to explain that I would like some dish with chicken.. so my taiwanese friend ordered dishes for lunch.. When the food came, I found the food looked like fried chicken.. As I started eating, the meat seemed a little chewy (more elasticity, if you may).. I brought that to my friend's attention and he told me it was "Farm Chicken".. so, I finished my food and went back to the plant..

later, I was reading a Frommer's Guide to Taiwan (travel book/guide) and realized "Farm Chicken" actually mean FROG meat.. eww.. never ordered chicken in Taiwan after that... beef all the way!.. hehe
