I am reading now \"FROM THE EDGE OF THE COUCH\" by DR RAJ PERSAUD. Its book about bizarre psychiatric case and what they teach us about ouselves. Dr raj persaud reveals , there are bizarre people out there who are convinced they are werewolves,vampires and other incredible creatures. As a result, the behave in ways beyond our wildest fantasies.

right now i'm readin "Lota kambal" by Sanjib Chottopaddai.... awesome ekta book...bangla sahitter top class boi er list e ei boi er naam taakbei ....u might find a thread on Lota kambal under the BookClub Section...this novel is based on the character Pintu....Pintur prithibi & tar chutto prithibir manush gulo ke niyei er kahini bere uta...another strong character in this book is "Harishankar", Pintus' father....durdanto personality...r doshjon bangali juboker motoi Pintu....maya name ek boirobi ke se bhalovashto...eke eke tar jibone aste take konok, Muko, kakima, oprna r o oneke...nana protikulaotar modde pintur egiye jaowar majei kahinir mul rosh lukayito...ekono jehetu sesh kori ni, so end e ki hoe bolte parsina....tobe this is for sure tht, r dosh bishta bangla novel er ceye ei "Lota kamabal" boi ta onek onek betikrom....try kore dekte paren...r ekta jinish hocche ei boi e Sanjib Chattopaddai er shobdo coyon....odbhutt !!!!!!!

thanks for your recommendation ; in fact i have not heard about this novel. i am excited .... lets see if i can find this in the library.

\"PURBO POSCHIM\"- jara pichone fire dekhte valobashen tader jonno ei boita oshadharon bole mone hobe. the most attractive feature of this book is that Rabindranath is the main character here. amar khub e valo lagse...... it reveals the starting period of the agitation against the british - r ei subject ta amar khub e priyo ekta subject..... also presents Swami Bibekanondo ..... lots to learn from this book.... amazingly Nazrul is completely missing (obosso Nazrul sei somoye silo kina sure na). Try it.. khub e rich ekta uponnas
