She longed for me
She wanted me
She gave birth to me
She grew me on her love.
She caressed me
She cuddled me
She felt my first tooth
She watched me crawling.
She treasured my first word
She helped me taking my first steps.
Maa, things happen to me and the first thought I have is to run to tell you.
She played with me
She read to me
She encouraged me
She is my confidence, gives advice and is
my very best friend.
Maa, I miss being able to run to you when I need a shoulder to cry on or great joy to share.
She loves me unconditionally
and with hellfire just a promise away
She\'ll still be loving me...
She would even plead my case to God ...
Yes, she is the treasure I will cherish for all time
And I Thank God, every day, I have been so blessed
with a mother like mine.
Maa, No one can take your place in my heart or life.
When silence overtakes the birds
I hear her cradle song,
When darkness magnifies my fears
I make my nest in her purity.
I return mother, I return,
To your tent I’d always return.
She wanted me
She gave birth to me
She grew me on her love.
She caressed me
She cuddled me
She felt my first tooth
She watched me crawling.
She treasured my first word
She helped me taking my first steps.
