Feel free to express your opinion...
When we pass through good period of time we think I deserve it cause I have worked for it. So there is no need to show gratitude to anyone. It happens in case of friends and relatives too  .In our good time we tend to forget them.

On the contrary, in our bad time we think,” I don’t deserve it. I haven’t done anything wrong for which I should suffer.” And we start to blame our luck. In our belief luck is something that is granted by Allah which cant be change by us (though it is not true). So we turn our face to Allah. Then when time changes we forget HIM again. It’s a human nature.

Why this nature?

We all know Allah has granted a power to devil to enter into the blood of human race. In my opinion, that means we are associates with bad nature by born. As per behaviour physiology human being are not inhabited to saying truth. A baby’s natural response to a question is generally saying lies. We learn to speak true. It comes by practice. In this way ungratefulness is also a human nature,

But Allah does not forget us. Sometime we just don’t realise it. Let me end this with a story…

One night a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints on the sand -- one belonging to him and the other to the Lord. When the last scene had flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints and he noticed only one set. He also noticed that this happened during the lowest and saddest times of his life. This bothered him and he questioned the Lord. \"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk all the way with me, but I noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life there was only one set of footprints. I don\'t understand why, when I needed you most, you deserted me.\"

The Lord replied, \"My precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, those were the times when I carried you in my arms.\"
Nice story , Allah is always with you if you r with the religion of Islam all the time. Take Allah as Malik as friend, all the time of your life, and you r on.

Allah said in Quran that "Ye recall me when in time of danger and forget when the danger be gone." and also cursed those people. so try to remember God always and try not to forget him ever.
